Sweet Avocado Bliss

I think first things first...in order to kick off my blog experience in Indonesia I feel it is crucial to explain a bit about the small delight that is "Jus Alpokat". Before shipping off to Southeast Asia to embark on a year in East Java, teaching English, and living in a state of perpetual confusion, I had heard about the delectable treat made with ice, avocado and chocolate sauce. I was a little skeptical, although I've always been a huge fan of guacamole and straight avocado in general. Luckily my first night in crowded and chaotic Jakarta I was able to find refuge in my first tall glass of subtley sweet jus alpokat.
